Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026
The short version
- Tremio is a work tool. We store the information you need to run your lawn-care business — your account, your customers, your jobs, invoices, payments, and photos.
- We never sell your data, show you ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
- You enter your own customers' details. You are responsible for having their permission to do that; we hold that information on your behalf.
- Some pages you share — like an invoice payment link — are visible to anyone who has the link, so only send them to the person who should see them.
- You can delete your account and its data from inside the app, or by email. Some records are kept after that; see exactly what.
Who we are
Tremio is a mobile app for solo operators and small crews in lawn and yard care. It is operated by ORLO WORKS LLC ("Tremio," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Tremio mobile app and the gotremio.com and tremio.app websites, including the invoice, statement, job, and crew pages that homeowners open at pay.tremio.app.
If anything here conflicts with the Spanish version of this policy, the English version controls.
The two kinds of people in Tremio
It helps to separate two roles. You are the operator — the crew owner or team member who signs in and uses the app. Your customers are the homeowners and property owners you serve; they do not have Tremio accounts. You enter their information so you can schedule and bill their work. Most of the data in Tremio is information you provide about your own business and your own customers.
For homeowners and property owners
If a crew uses Tremio for your property, that crew controls your information: they entered it and they decide how it is used. Please ask them first about your data. If you would rather contact us, email crew@gotremio.com and we will route your request to the crew. Tremio never texts you: any text message about your job or invoice comes from the crew's own phone.
Information we collect, and why
Your account
When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and phone number, and a profile photo if you add one. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from them (Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email). We use this to create and secure your account, to identify you to your team, and to contact you about the service. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider (see Processors below).
Your business setup
We store the details you configure to run your business: your company name, tax rate, your services and their prices, your crews and team members, message templates, and the payment handles you choose to show customers (for example your Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App, or a payment link). We use these to operate the app's scheduling, invoicing, and payment features.
Your customers' information
To schedule and bill work, you enter information about your customers. This can include their names, phone numbers, email addresses, property addresses, geographic location (map coordinates) of those properties, gate codes and access notes, and any notes you add. You control what you enter.
You are responsible for having the right to provide this information and, where the law requires it, for telling your customers how their information is used and for honoring their requests about it. We process your customers' information on your behalf so that your business can function.
Jobs, invoices, and payments
We store your job records (schedules, status, route order, notes), invoices and line items (amounts, tax, due dates), and a payment ledger recording how much was paid, by what method (cash, check, card, bank transfer, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or other), and when. Tremio does not charge your customers' cards or move money between your customers and you: it records payments you have already received and shows customers where to pay you — cash, check, or your own Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or payment link. The only card payments that go through Tremio's payment processor are the operator's own Tremio subscription.
Photos
You can attach before, after, and property photos to jobs. We store these photos to show your work and support your invoicing. Photos are held in our hosting provider's object storage (see Processors). Photos you attach to a job can appear on the invoice, statement, and job pages you share (see "Share links" below).
Device permissions
The app asks for certain phone permissions only when a feature needs them. You can decline or revoke any of them in your device settings; the related feature simply won't work.
- Contacts — so you can add a customer from your phone's contacts instead of typing their details.
- Location — to show nearby properties and help order your route. We use it while you're using the app; we don't track your location in the background.
- Camera — to take before-and-after job photos.
- Photo library — to attach existing photos to a property or job.
- Notifications — to show trial reminders (see "Reminders" below).
Maps and addresses
The Route tab shows your stops on a map. On iPhone the map is Apple Maps, and turning an address into a map point uses the phone's built-in address lookup. On Android the map is Google Maps, and address lookup also uses the phone's built-in lookup. The map provider receives the usual request data (such as your IP address and the map area you view).
Subscription and billing
If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details directly and handles the transaction. We store the identifiers it returns (such as a customer and subscription ID) and your subscription status, trial end date, and seat count. We do not store your full card number.
Referrals
Referral links (?ref=) and partner QR codes (?src=) carry a
short code. The website shows a banner with the code, and the app can keep a captured
code on your phone for up to 30 days so it can be applied when you sign up. When a
company you referred makes its first payment, both the referrer and the referred
company each earn one free month. We record the
code, which companies are linked, and when.
Reminders
The app schedules trial-ending reminders as notifications on your own phone. They are created and shown by your device; we do not run a push-notification server.
Waitlist
If you join the launch waitlist on our website, we store your email address, your language, and where you came from (a source tag such as the page, referral code, or QR code you used), and we add you to a mailing list at our email provider (Resend) so we can tell you when the app is available. If you make a crew page, your email, language, and source tag are stored on our waitlist the same way, but they are not sent to Resend. Tremio itself sends no email today; the only emails you get come from Clerk (sign-in and verification) and Stripe (payment receipts).
Our website and your browser
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. We don't do cross-site tracking, so we don't respond to Do Not Track signals.
How your data is stored: on your device and in the cloud
Tremio is built to work offline. Your business data is stored locally on your device so the app keeps working with no signal, and it syncs to our cloud when you're back in coverage. That means a copy of your customers, jobs, invoices, and photos lives both on your phone and on our servers. Removing the app from a device clears that device's local copy; deleting your account (below) clears the cloud copy.
Share links are public to anyone who has the link
Some features create a shareable web link so you can send a page to a customer:
- An invoice payment page, which shows the invoice details and the payment handles you've chosen to display.
- A customer statement page showing a customer's balance and history. Its link is long and unguessable, but anyone who has it can open it.
- A job status page, which can show before-and-after photos of the work.
Invoice and statement pages can also show job photos. These pages are reachable by anyone who has the link — they are not password-protected. Only send a link to the person who should see it.
What homeowners can send us. From these pages a homeowner can tell the crew "I paid" (the payment method and amount), leave a review (a 1 to 5 rating, an optional comment, and an optional name), or ask the crew to go ahead with a quote. This information comes from the homeowner directly, is stored with the crew's records, and is shown to the crew.
Crew pages
If you make a free crew page, we store what you type into the form: your business name, first name, phone number, email, service ZIP codes, area, services, languages, the short “about” text, your page language, and the payment handles you choose to show (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, check payee, or a payment link). We also keep a private edit-link token, stored only as a hash.
- Public by your choice. Your business name, first name, phone, area, ZIP codes, services, languages, about text and payment handles are shown on your page to anyone with the link or QR code. Your email is never shown unless you tick the box to show it; otherwise we use it only for the founding crew list (see Waitlist).
- View counts, no personal data. We count how many times a page was opened and how many of those came from its QR code. We do not record IP addresses, set cookies, or run tracking pixels on crew pages.
- Deletion on request. Email crew@gotremio.com and we will remove your page and its data.
Tremio does not process payments made through a crew page. Payments go directly to the crew, outside Tremio.
Who processes data for us
We use a small set of service providers to run Tremio. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Clerk — sign-in and account authentication, including Sign in with Apple and Google, and the sign-in and verification emails it sends.
- Stripe — subscription billing for the operator's Tremio subscription, and the payment receipts it emails.
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, and photo storage for the app and website.
- Resend — our mailing list for waitlist sign-ups. It receives the email address and language of people who join the waitlist.
- Sentry — crash and error reports. If the app crashes, shows its error screen, or a sign-in fails, it sends the error, basic device and app-version details, and for sign-in failures only error codes and status names. It also attaches a random installation identifier and recent app activity (navigation and network-request breadcrumbs). None of this is linked to your identity. We do not send your name, email, or business data, and it is not used for advertising or tracking.
- Apple Maps / Google Maps — the map in the Route tab (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android).
- Google Fonts — fonts on our website (see above).
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active so the app works and your records stay available. If you cancel your subscription but do not delete your account, your data is kept until you delete your account. When you delete your account, we delete your company's data as described below, except for the records listed there.
Deleting your data
In the app: More → Delete Account. You confirm twice. This permanently erases your company's data — customers, properties, jobs, invoices, payments, and photos — cancels the Tremio subscription, and deletes your sign-in account. Within the app, customers and jobs you delete are first marked as deleted (so your other devices learn about it); they are erased for good when the account is deleted. Without the app: email crew@gotremio.com from your account email. Step by step: how to delete your account.
If your company still has other active members you can't delete it yet: remove the members first (ownership transfer isn't supported in this release).
What is kept after your account is deleted, and for how long:
- Stripe billing records (customer, invoices, payments) — kept by Stripe as tax and accounting rules require, up to seven years.
- Waitlist entry and email-list contact — until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
- Crew pages — a crew page is not tied to an app account, so deleting your account does not remove it. Email us to have it removed.
- Operational logs — our hosting provider keeps server logs for its standard retention period; the log of an account deletion can include internal account IDs.
- Partner payout records — a supply-yard partner's earned referral record is kept, with your company's link to it removed.
Children
Tremio is a business tool for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top and, for material changes, give at least 30 days' notice by email before they take effect.
